Disneyland Days 1 and 2

What a great day!! We woke up bright and early to make the most of the "Early Entry Day." The kids were thrilled and we were some of the first people in the park. As soon as it opened, we booked it over to the Finding Nemo Submarines and for our kids first ride, it was pretty awesome. They thought it was so cool. The major benefit to heading to Disneyland in mid February is that there are hardly any lines. A neighbor (who frequents Disneyland yearly) told me that a good day at Disney is getting on ten rides. Well, since there was hardly anyone there our first day, we walked on almost every ride. In fact, we were so busy riding rides, we didn't even eat any of our snacks until after lunch. We didn't even take any photos until Pirates of the Carribean (shown above) which was like, our 10 ride. We ended up going on 25 rides between Disneyland and California Adventure that first day. (Granted, not everyone went on every single ride, but almost all of them). The ride we waited the longest for was about 10 minutes.
After lunch, for a little break, we headed over to Tom Sawyer Island to let the kids run around a bit. They loved it!

After a few more rides, we headed over to watch the Aladdin Musical in California Adventure. It was a nice break and the kids LOVED it. Below we are waiting for it to begin.
On our way out of the park that evening, we stopped by Turtle Talk. This was so much fun!! They kids thought it was super cool.
Our kids were so worn out that as we were leaving the park (at 8pm) every kids was asleep before we left the parking lot.

Day 2
Our second day began with us heading right into CA Adventure. We tried out the Toy Story Mania ride, Screamin', the Ferris Wheel, Soarin' over California and many others. We didn't do quite as much the second day, our kids were still completely worn out.
They kids didn't love seeing characters. They would much rather ride rides!
The Bug's Life area had some great rides, especially for Austin who was too small for roller coasters. He had a lot of fun there. So did the older boys.
While we went to Soarin' Over California (so cool!) my father-in-law took Austin to see Lightening McQueen!! He is pretty excited.
After Matt and I went on Soarin', his parents went while we sat with the kids. All three of the younger kids fell asleep. They were still so worn out. After a good rest, we headed over to Jedi Training. The boys had been looking forward to this after hearing all about it from our neighbors. Zack and Derek were both chosen and thought it was the neatest thing ever. While the boys were learning the ways of the force, Matt's parents and sister took Sydney to get some photos taken with princess. I can't get them to load, I will have to add them later.
Day 2 ended with everyone completely exhausted. We left for dinner and then came back for the World of Color show. It was cool, but carrying three exhausted/sleeping kids for over an hour was not. We were looking forward to a day off.
