The Snail

This little snail was discovered in our raspberry patch.  I picked him up to show the boys.  They were a little disgusted at first and then started screaming when I started chasing them around the yard threatening to set his slimy body on their faces.  It was hilarious.  We decided to observe him on cement and we had a great time checking him out, until Derek accidentally stepped on him as he enthusiastically tried to grab a roly poly.  May he rest in peace (although I had no intention of letting him live through the night....I do not want snails in my yard....)  Farewell, Mr. Snail.  It was fun while it lasted.  And the green goo you expelled in death was awfully disgusting.  RIP
