What we have been doing this week....

 Holding a sick baby.  We had grand plans for the first week of summer break.  Alas, all we were able to do was hit the library. 

 Syd tried really hard to smile when I pulled out the camera. 

Her face, most of the time this week.  Poor little baby has an ear infection, second one in three weeks, same ear.  Tubes are in our future.  She has had plenty before, but his one must be a doozy, she is so miserable.  No lie, last night was the first time in her life that I was up most of the night with her.  When her brothers had ear infections (frequently) they would scream all night unless I held them sitting up.  Syd has sailed through all the others, but this one has been rough on the poor girl.  I do attempt to still brush her hair every morning, but she doesn't want me to touch her head at all.  Get well soon, baby girl.  That said, Syd on her worst day is like a normal baby on a regular day.  She is usually so happy and easy, so when she is lethargic and/or screaming, something is definitely very wrong.  She is so done with me typing, time to go.
