Hurray! After twenty-one years of glasses and contacts, I am getting LASIK! Matt had it done ten years ago, and has been trying to convince me to do it since. I was a little freaked out about lasers shooting into my eye. I mean, seriously, we are talking about my EYES. I am kind of attached to them. But, I am finally ready, and loving the idea of waking up in the middle of the night with a sick baby and being able to see, swimming with my kids and nomore irritating contacts.
I have worn glasses only for the last week and a half in preparation. That helped to dispel any hesitation on my part. I am so over my glasses, they just get in my way. Bring on the eye-shooting lasers, I'm ready.
