Sydney is pretty serious. She makes you work for laughs. She is rarely fussy. Just calm and quiet. She just figured out that she can make spitting noises and does it all the time. If anyone (besides mom and dad) can get Sydney to smile or laugh, it is Derek. He is so extra sweet with her. She is a girl on the move and rolls all over the place and scoots! She brings her little knees up just like she is going to crawl, then uses her feet to push herself around. She loves to be held and I have to say, we all love holding her. No worries about spoiling the girl. She pretty much gets held all day, just because it is fun. She very obviously loves her mama best, but is much more tolerant of others snuggling her than her brothers ever were. She has such a beautiful, calm spirit and we are so grateful that she is part of our family.
