A No Fail Diet

So, if any of you gals out there are looking to shed a few extra pounds, I have a no-fail diet for you. Here it is:
1. Have a baby
2. Run around like crazy for the next three months because it is the busiest summer you can remember.
3. Care for all three kids as a yucky virus rips through the family.
4. Catch yucky virus for yourself.
5. Sweat, chill, fever, sweat, over and over and over.
6. Watch as virus develops into pneumonia.
7. Proceed to do absolutely nothing for two weeks, while others clean, cook and care for your family.
Voila!
*Really, though, pneumonia stinks. I still have another week I am supposed to "take it easy" on the horizon. I want to take care of my family! Only problem is, if I stand up for too long, I start to get dizzy and weak in the knees. And although the weight loss thing is true, do not try it at home.

I saw your mom the night she got back from being at your house. I heard all about how sick you were. Ohh dear Laurie, good luck. Moms aren't supposed to get sick. So extra good luck to you.
