On the Mend

Yes, we are all feeling so much better around here. Except Matt, and also Derek has a little fever tonight. But on the whole, we are all doing much better. All five of us even went to all 3 hours of church today, something that hasn't happend for at least a month due to sickness. We had a pretty busy weekend, yesterday we decided on the spur of the moment to go get the timing belt in my car replaced, so we drove down to Provo dropped off my car....funny story about that incident I will have to post later....and we all five squished into Matt's car for the day. (FYI: two-door civics do not fit three car seats very well.) Anywho, we first went to the mall to pick me up some running shoes and then headed over to a really great resturaunt called Jason's Deli. Matt has been there before, but it was my first time and to quote Rachel Ray: Yum-O! After that we drove over to BYU and walked around with our kids and showed them things we used to do there. Zack is always impressed with the BYU bowling alley where I used to work and he especially loved the moving stacks in the library and the model airplanes hanging in the Periodicals section. Then we just drove around and pointed out all our old apartments and told funny stories. At last our car was done and we headed home. Today after church we had some neighbors over for dinner, it was really fun. And now I think I am going to bed. I stayed up late and woke up early, working on a RS lesson and then was busy cooking all afternoon....and after a week of sick kiddos, I am a little worn out. By the way, congratultions to my brother-in-law Chad, who got the movie quote I posted last week, it was from "Mr. Mom." I have decided that movie quotes will be a new feature of the blog, seeing as I have about a zillion stored up in my brain. So...good night and enjoy!!

**Name that Movie**

By the way, no one whose name ends in Peterson is allowed to answer this one:
"Could they be the miners?"
"Yeah, they are like three years old!"
"Miners, not minors, you idiot!"

Laur, how can i not answer your movie quote invitation? Its cruel! If no one gets it in a few days, can I spoil it?

Huh, I'm drawing a complete blank. I'm not so good with anything requiring memory. :)

Sounds like you guys have been really busy. Usually when we emerge from the fog of sickness, we lay around for days on end just trying to get back on our feet. You, on the other hand, spring right back into action. Commendable! :) Glad you're feeling better. (Did I know you worked at the bowling alley?)

Liz, how can you not remember that I worked at the bowling alley? you guys would come, I would give you a sweet deal on bowling or pool and all the free tootsie rolls you could stomach. Tara came all time and brought various people with her. I know I remember you coming there while I was working.
James, if no one gets the quote by tomorrow you can answer it. :)

Wow, sounds like I should remember that, but I have only a vague recollection. Don't feel bad, though, I have a terrible memory! :)

Wow, I totally remember you working at the bowling alley- in fact I think of you everytime I go there. You hooked us up with pool lots-loved it!

We just had a sick weekend here- all of us were sick- Cody had the flu- slowly we are starting to get back on the mend.

I love movie quotes-its a game I play with my sisters all the time too. But I haven't a clue.

Hey Laurie, Chad and I aren't sure on your movie quote, but Chad guesses galaxy quest?

Right again Chad. That is probably my favorite quote from the movie. I wanted to start off easy, but I guess I better step up my game, eh?
