Get your balance......
Boom!
Mom, I want the camera, please? Can I have the camera?
GIVE ME THE CAMERA!!
Oh little Ellie. This girl is just full of joy! We all adore her and can't get enough of her. She is happy and fun and loves to give slobbery kisses to anyone who asks for one. She has lost some of her darling chunkiness since she has become mobile :( She loves to be held by Zack, she loves Derek to make her laugh and she likes to be fussed over by Sydney and Austin. She loves to hug Matt goodbye and hello. When he comes in or out the door, she makes a beeline for his feet and stands up because she wants him to pick her up. She says mama, dad, zaza (we pretend she is saying Zack, maybe she is!) and hi. She loves to clap, especially for herself! She loves to stand up and has been taking steps all week. She will try most food, so far she really likes all fruit, avocado, chicken and oatmeal. She wants to try anything and loves drinking water from a cup. She sings! Anytime I or any of the kids start belting out, "Let It Go," she starts singing along. It makes us laugh every time. I love when Matt gets her out of bed in the morning and brings her to me and she tries to jump out of his arms to reach me! She doesn't sleep through the night and she has eight teeth and tries to bite me when she is eating, lest you think she is a perfect baby. But, we are down to one wake up at night, just in the last week. She slept really well, only waking once until she was about 5 months old and she started getting teeth. Since she has 8 (!!) teeth now, she has been consistently waking up three times a night since she started teething. Once a night, I can handle, I was starting to feel slightly zombie-ish with the lack of sleep. She is just so much fun and I am sure she will be a darling little terror all summer, eating dirt and licking rocks, smashing bugs. If only time could slow down. It is going waaaaaaaaaay too fast for me and this darling baby who is growing up so fast.. Sloooooooow dooooown!!!

Oh, she is a doll! And her few imperfections seem to be totally outweighed by her sweetness. Although, 3 wakings a night for months sounds downright awful! Glad you're getting a little more sleep these days.
