Sickness Continues

In case you can't tell, I am trying to blog more often.  Hardly anyone reads this old blog anymore and I am keeping it round more for record-keeping purposes than anything.

More kids are sick.  Sydney took a SIX hour nap yesterday.  Poor sick lil children.  Matt took the Scouts on a Winter campout Friday night.  He spent the night with snow and howling winds in a tent and I spent the night with a feverish Sydney in my bed sleeping right on top of my head until I would push her off and a feverish Ellie  who pooped through 3 pair of pajamas and my sheets.  Good thing I am an expert at removing baby poop.  (Fels Naptha is the bomb.)  Not sure who had a worse night.  :)  the next morning, Derek had his first basketball game of the season and as I was getting everyone ready to go, I buckle Ellie in the car set and she projectile vomits all over me, the seat and carpet.  So...we skipped the game and cleaned up baby barf instead.  (Baby barf is much better than any other kind.  Ellie basically only eats a little baby oatmeal and nurses.  Not as gross.  )  Thankfully, Sydney and Ellie both seem to be feeling better and it has hit Zack hard and starting in on Austin.  Matt and I took turns at church and all the kids stayed home.  They were bummed not to meet their new primary teachers.  I think Derek might be the only one heading to school tomorrow.  Maybe.  Sydney seems great, though.  We haven't gotten sick over here for a while, at least not the sick that rages through the whole family.  I always forget how miserable it is for the kids.  At least Matt and I are not sick, that would be much, much worse.  Get well soon little children!  Until then, we will take it easy and eat soup and watch movies and wrap up in the big furry bear blankets on the couch.
