A few weeks before school ended this year, I had a friend mention something about a dance off at school. Her daughter who is in Zack's class, had told her about it. Zack had never mentioned it, so I asked him about it later that day. (He will tell me every detail of his math test or the book he is reading, but not so much the social stuff. Derek on the other hand, tells me all the drama of first grade on a regular basis.)
I asked Zack about the dance off and he said, oh, yeah, that was last week. He said that all the boys had to choose a girl to dance with and then have a dance-off. He chose some girl in the class to dance with and he said it was sooo embarrassing. But then he said, " But, I played it cool." ?!?!??! Haahaaaa, Matt and I laughed so hard. It is fun to watch these kids grow up.
Another hilarious story is when Matt told Zack the facts of life. I will not put it on the blog, for fear of scarring my son forever, but if you really want to know, talk to me in person :) It is hysterical.
