This morning at 8am I took a picture of the deck. A nice little skiff of new snow covering the old gross snow. Notice the bench in particular.
After a steady snowfall all day, this is was the bench at 3pm. That is a lot of snow. Especially here in Lehi, where snow never lasts very long.
I went out to inspect my driveway to see if we dared venture to piano lessons or not and found about 8 inches covering the entire driveway. I started to shovel a little path for my van and was quickly joined by the boys as they got off the bus, followed by my awesome teenage neighbors who did 90% of the work. Alas, we did not make it to piano since I obviously can't shovel the roads. I was doubtful that if I made it to the road I would be able to pull my car back into my driveway. Yikes. The kids are finishing their hot cocoa and now it is time for homework. We will be speedy because how can you have this much snow and not go play?
Of course we can't forget the pile of soggy snow clothes everyone shed in their haste to get to the hot chocolate.

WOA! I had heard that the snow was deep, but seeing pictures brings it to a new level! It looks pretty, but you can bet I'd be inside sipping hot cocoa rather than shoveling snow while pregnant. Go you!
Can you believe this snow??? I am supposed to go grocery shopping and get pizza for scouts today. Can i cancel scouts and call it a snow day?? Its fun and beautiful and I'm ready for spring:)
You guys got hit pretty hard up there! Ours finally melted! I love the photo of the snow gear piled everywhere. So familiar!
