This morning Austin says, "Mom, I love. I love you because you are so beautiful!" I said, "Oh, Austin, that is so nice! But would you love me if I was ugly?" He had to think about that for a minute and finally says, "Yes, if you were still nice."
On a side note, for my birthday my brother and sister-in-law interviewed my kids to help with a little project they were making for my birthday. The kids answers totally matched each kid's personality. I could pick out who said what without any prompting. The question was: Why do you love your mom?
The answers in no particular order (see if you can guess which kid said what)
Because.....I love him.
She's pretty.
She's nice.
She's fun.

At first glance at that title, I thought it said "Autism" - super glad it didn't ;) Your kids are cuties!
