Sydney sleeps

 This is Sydney's crib.  About a week ago she started jumping out of it.  The side rails come off to convert to a toddler bed.  I thought she would be excited about a big girl bed.  She totally was!  The only problem was she kept falling out of bed. 

 The next step was to just put her mattress on the floor.  I didn't want to keep hearing her go 'thump' every night.  Now if I can just figure out how to make her stay in her bed.....

This is where I have found her asleep the last few nights.  She has always been really good at going to sleep on her own and I didn't want to try laying by her to get her to go to sleep every night.  I put up the baby gate so she won't fall down our steep stairs at night.  She says her prayers, I lay her down and tuck her in.   Then I leave and go help the boys or read email.  She hops out of bed and pulls all her toys and puzzles out.  After about ten minutes of her calling, "Mom, mom, I get out?" she crashes on the floor.  I carry her to her bed and she stays there all night.  Works for me!
