Memorial Day

We had a busy Memorial Day.  We spent the night at my parent's house and celebrated my brother David's birthday.  We visited the Peterson graves on Sunday night.   My parents and all of their kids, visiting the cemetery together for the first time in ten years or so.....from left to right, me (1), Chris (4), Dad, Mom, Tara (2), Michael (6), Jamison (5) and David (3).

We visiting my Grandma and Grandpa Peterson's graves and Matt's Grandma and Grandpa Sorensen and his Grandma Thompson.  We had a cookout at his parent's house and then headed for home.  Not for long, though, because Matt took Sydney and Austin to Thanksgiving Point and I took Zack and Derek to a concert in Orem.  We saw Vocal Point, Delilah and the Pentatonix from the show, The Sing-Off.  We went with two of my brothers and sat with them and some of their friends.  (Yep, me and a bunch of college kids....it was seriously a blast!)  The concert was fantastic.  The kids were pretty tired by the end, but they had a lot of fun.  Everyone was really good, but honestly, the Pentatonix blew it out of the water.  It was amazing.

We headed home tired and hopped right in to bed.  It was really fun to hang out with my bigger boys and my brothers!!

We loved last season of The Sing Off! Totally jealous! You really did fit a LOT into one day! But it sounds like fun!
