Hi Zack, Derek, Austin and Sydney,

I hope you guys are having fun and being great for Grandma and Grandpa Sorensen.  Last night we left Long Beach kind of late and we tried to sleep on the plane, but it was very bumpy.  We arrived in DC at 5:20 am today and hopped on a bus to take us into the city.  We got to our hotel and it was too early fo us to check in, but we changed our clothes and cleaned up a bit and left our suitcases at the hotel.  We grabbed some breakfast and hopped on the Metro to go to the Library of Congress.  It was really cool, there were lots of neat, old artifacts, maps, books and artwork.  Dad took a picture of me looking at the Gutenberg Bible, the first major book printed on a moveable type printing press.  I will show you more pictures when we get home.

Next, we went to Arlington National Cemetery.  I have some great photos to show you from there as well.  We were getting sunburned and we haven't slept all night, so we are winding dow.  We just had salad and fruit for lunch and we are waiting to go into the Pentagon right now.  Then we will head back to the hotel for naps, because we are too tired to do anything else now.  Have a great night, we love and miss you tons!!!

Love,

Mom and Dad
