Siddie's Piggies

Do you see them? Two teeny tiny pigtails? They are there!
The top view. Sure, it is only about 2 cm worth of hair, but I just thought it was so.darn.cute. If we are going to have pigtails, we might need to think about getting matching bows.
Oh, wait! They won't last long enough in her hair for anyone to notice. Her dearest joy is to rip her bows out of her hair as soon as I put them in. She laughs and laughs and laughs.
Mmmmm...tasty.

Sydney is now 9 1/2 months old. She is starting to like food, not baby food, REAL food. We are working on weaning, not going well. She walks around the furniture, but no steps on her own, thank goodness. The boys were all walking by this age and I have to say, I am so glad she is not. She says mama and dada and gives fives and waves bye bye and hides her face for peekaboo. She is a great sleeper, usually taking two naps a day and sometimes waking up once at night. She laughs at almost anything, she cuddles and will let anyone hold her. She is happy and busy and curious and her favorite things to do are knock over clean laundry and pull all the crayons out of their bin. She loves music and tries to imitate my sounds when I sing to her. She is absolutely delightful.

She sounds like a keeper. Absolutely adorable and happy. I really love this age, so playful, so sweet.

This is definitely a fabulous age! I can't believe your boys were all already walking by now!!! And she says words?! She must be a genius! Love this happy little post. :)
