1. Our first Sunday in Uruguay, we were taking the Sacrament. Brad had just taken the water, but before he could swallow, Tara leaned over and said, "Oh, I forgot to tell you, it is not safe to drink the water!" Brad was unsure what to do, swallow and risk sickness, spit it out? He was just holding the water in his mouth, trying to decide what to do when he noticed Tara and and my brother Michael, shaking with laughter.
2. My parents held a talent show for the grandkids. Everyone sang or danced, it was funny. My nephew, Davis, who is 4, announced he was going to sing in Spanish. He got up in front of everyone and sings to the tune of a Primary song, "Si, si, si si si dos si si....va siss da dee de does si si sil....." Until his song was complete. Ever the one for honesty, Derek pipes up and says, "That's a weird song!!" Everyone, even Davis burst into giggles.
3. One day, I had put Austin down for a nap in the play pen in my room here. After about 30 minutes or so, Matt went into the room to grab something. He noticed that Austin wasn't in his bed and came out and said, "Where is Austin?" Derek piped up and said, "It was a miracle!|" "What was?" asked Matt. "I helped him escape!"
We are having so much fun and I am so happy to say that I haven't had an ounce of morning sickness since we left home. The kids love playing with their Grandparents, Michael and of course each other.
