Time to Catch a Leprechaun

Zack has been obsessed with Leprechauns since he learned all about them in kindergarten. There is a a leprechaun, Lucky who sneaks around leaves his footprints everywhere. The kids write him letters and Lucky writes back. Zack wrote his second letter last night and asked Lucky to please come out to play with the kids in the class. He also built a Leprechaun Trap over the weekend. The top of the box says, "Home for Lucky." The plan was to leave something gold, Zack was eyeing my wedding ring, but I said no way, for Lucky in the trap. We are going to set it tonight. Wish us luck(y).

And it is finally warming up and the boys are loving being able to play in their sandbox once more.

P.S. One month from today Austin and I are headed to Uruguay! We are so excited!

Laurie,

I love your new family picture at the top of your blog. I like your hair. Your story reminded me of how we tried to explain to my grandmother from Argentina what leprechauns were, since she had never heard of them. It did not work out. I think she thought that we were all nuts.
