Just a little shout out to my slickdealing hubby. Matt found this Christmas tree after Christmas last year for $25! Regularly $250, pre-lit from Sears. I love it! Our older tree is much thinner, it is currently residing in the family room. And yes, I know there decorations are few and far between. I only decorate where little fingers can not reach. Oh Christmas Tree
Just a little shout out to my slickdealing hubby. Matt found this Christmas tree after Christmas last year for $25! Regularly $250, pre-lit from Sears. I love it! Our older tree is much thinner, it is currently residing in the family room. And yes, I know there decorations are few and far between. I only decorate where little fingers can not reach. That is a great deal- though with the money you saved, I'd spring for some more bulbs to hang on the tree!
lol, I know the ornaments are few and far between. I have two boxes of bulbs that I haven't put up yet because I KNOW they will get smashed if I turn my back for a second. (plus with the whole running back and forth to the hospital, I haven't really had time to do anything the past few weeks.)
That's the way to go. Wish I lived closer to "civilization" so I could take advantage of those "sweet" deals after Christmas! Our tree ornaments are skimpy, too. (Especially after some breaking! And the whole tree has been rearranged 7+ times already!) Add the rest Christmas Eve-it'd be a fun surprise!
