Grocery Shopping: Matt Style

I reminded Matt this evening that we had a movie to return to Redbox (a fabulous invention, by the way.) I also reminded him to pick up a few snacks to take to the waterpark tomorrow. I also mentioned that I would really appreciate something chocolate. I was not specific at all and was really curious to see what he would bring home. Sending Matt to the store is always an interesting experience. He comes home with the most random things, usually things that he likes that I won't buy, aka canned chili, and nutter butter bars. And he is a sucker for any kind of sale. He was gone for an incredibly long time, considering the fact that the store is less than five miles from our house. He walked in the door with a huge smile and this:

That would be FIFTEEN chocolate items. All for me. I was laughing so hard, and he was pretty proud of himself. The nutter butter bars DO NOT count though, because I hate them and he loves them. He wasn't sure what I meant by something chocolate, so he played it safe and got a pretty wide range of chocolatey items. What a guy!! He is the best. Thanks, Mateo.

That is sure thorough. My favorite is the nutty bars- how can you not like those! I would not have the self control to have that much chocolate goodness in the house all at once- it would be gone in a day.

Ha ha ha!! That's my kind of "playing it safe." I need a Matt in my house to make sure I'm getting the chocolate I need. :) I'll have Dan read this as a tutorial. Way to go, Matt!!

That is how Hema shops too! I try not to send him to the store very often. At least your set for a while!
