Disneyland!!!

Last week we went to Disneyland!!  We left last Saturday morning and drove to St. George.  We stopped for a little hiking and rock climbing.  Perfect for getting the wiggles out.

Austin is the bravest of the bunch.

We kept driving to Las Vegas and spent Saturday night there.  We got up pretty early the next morning, with the time change and daylight savings, we were up and at 'em extra early.  We were going to go to church in Las Vegas, but decided to start driving instead of waiting a few hours for 9am church to start.  We ended up going to a Sacrament meeting in Barstow, CA.  It was one of the best fast and testimony meetings I have ever been to.  I loved it!  We drove straight to Newport beach so our kids could see the ocean.  Sticking their toes in the water turned into Austin falling face first into the water and the other boys jumping in as well in their nice clothes.  Great.
My parents and my sister Tara and her family also came with us.  They all flew and we met up at the hotel on Sunday evening.  We opted for 5 day passes and it worked out great.  Especially since we were the only family with a car.  We just went back and forth between the hotel and Disneyland every day.  Our hotel was right across the street from Disney so it was great to be able to take a break during the day if we needed to.  (We needed to.)
 The kids and Buzz!
Waiting for the Aladdin show to start.  Sydney fell off her chair and whacked her nose on the railing about 10 seconds after this was taken.
The kids LOVED the wilderness explorer area in CA Adventure.

Does my niece, Kate, have the cutest face or what?  She is darling.
Just heading to the Bug's Life area.  The whole crew, minus my parents who left a day earlier than us.
Not sure what was so fascinating...
Sydney and her "Kapunzel" hat.  Also, the remnants of chocolate ice cream on her shirt.
Ellie and her Snow White doll.
Derek and his wooden rifle, Zack and the Wizard hat and Austin and his Davy Crockett hat.  Thank you so much Grandma and Grandpa Boothe and Grandma and Grandpa Sorensen for the treat money!
Best travelling baby ever.  She popped out a tooth in Frontierland and didn't even make a fuss.
The Peterson cousins on the trip.  (We surely missed Sabrina, Claire and Elijah. )

 Tarzan's Treehouse
 Cousins.
The Tower of Terror (my favorite ride.)  Look at my nephew, Jace, on the bottom left corner.  He made that face every time he went on this ride.
Jedi Training Academy.  All of the boys in our group were chosen to participate.  They loved it.
Austin took his Jedi training very seriously.

 Pool time.
Kate and Sydney in their matching jackets my Grandma gave them last Christmas.  Kate calls hers "the bird jacket."  Sydney calls hers, "the fluffy jacket."
Waiting for World of Color to start.  Tired kids.
Much more animated the next night waiting for the Parade.
 Papa and baby Lucy.
Good brother.  Didn't last too long though.
The Ferris Wheel in CA Adventure.  Checkout Derek's face.  He was freaking out.
Matt and Brad and the kids got stuck on Splash Mountain our last night.  They had to get evacuated off.
 The castle decorated for Christmas.
The boys and their dads stayed late on Friday night.  They all wanted one last ride.  It was an awesome trip!  The 5 day pass allowed us to take breaks and go at a slower pace which was nice with the kids.  We all loved it!!!!  Now, back to reality and routine and normal life.  It was so fun to have a break to play, play  and play with the kids and so good to be home.

I tried to comment on this the other day... but here I go again... I am so happy that you got to do this and that your sister and parents came is like the icing on the cake! I almost don't want to go back to Disney without cousins because its so fun with them. Maybe we'll see if its as fun without them though... next time you're headed that way let us know we'll meet you there. ;)
