Boys will be boys...

I was just sitting here at the computer with Austin in my lap and Derek and Zack behind me playing in the laundry baskets. (Not exactly sure what they were playing.) All of the sudden I hear Zack shout, " Good job Derek! You are learning your manners! You said please!" I started laughing and asked them what was going on. According to Zack, Derek wanted the Woody that Zack was holding and intead of stealing as he would usually do, he said, "Peees Woody?" Apparently Zack was very proud of this milestone. However, we backtracked slighty just now as Derek threw Woody and Woody's boot smacked Austin in the head.

Ha ha, Brooke! As I was opening up the comments section, I was thinking in my head, "One step forward, two steps back." I guess if I said it my way, they'd forever be moving backward. Bummer for you, Laurie. Well, I'm with Brooke. My life with a three-year-old is filled with setbacks right now. I just hope he pulls through this phase of boundary testing soon or I'll break. :-)
