Derek is so fun and full of personality. He has more energy and personality than everyone else in our house combined! He is great at rounding up neighborhood kids for games. He is a leader and he has a great imagination. Derek just . Really funny. He has a way of speaking that turns anything he says into joke. Derek is also so obedient. He is always the first to respond to my requests. He has liked learning piano this year. He had really started to like sports and plays basketball, soccer or football at recess. School is not his favorite, but he does really like math. He has earned his Wolf badge and his religious knot and is excited to move into the Bear den. He memorized 11/13 articles of faith recently and is so proud of himself. (We are so proud of him too!) I wish there were some great friends for Derek in our neighborhood, but he kind of falls in an age group that is a little short on boys. He is usualk happy to tag along with Zack. Derek makes everything so fun. We love that boy.
