Looking forward: 2014!!

Happy New Year!!!  We had a fun New Year's Eve.  Matt and the boys went ice fishing down in Scofield with some friends.  They all survived and had a blast.  We fried up some trout for dinner.  They kids all scarfed it down.  I don't tell them, but I hate to eat fish.  I don't like it at all.  But, I want them to like fish, so I fried them up and told them how good it was and I always eat a few bites.  :)

After dinner, we went to hang out with our friends, Mark and Jackie and their family.  We chatted, ate some yummy snacks and played games.  We headed home just after nine and put all the kids to bed.  Oh, wait, we went to bed too.  I woke up at midnight when our neighbors did their fireworks and Zack says he stayed up reading until midnight, but I feel no shame in being a complete party pooper.  It was fun.

Looking forward for this new year, we don't have anything crazy big planned.  2013 was a big year with Disneyland and the most darling baby in the world.  Hopefully, 2014 is calmer.  Derek will get baptized, we will go camping, Scout Camp, Girl's Camp, family camp outs, the Lodge, Uintahs.  Gardening, homework, piano recitals, movie nights and game nights.  Learning and growing and becoming better.  Here is to a wonderful New Year for you all!!!
