Sydney made herself a little bed on the chest at the foot of my bed.
Austin made himself a "police station." Notice his hat and gun are at the ready.
Reading/drawing in the shade. After I took this photo I saw someone had used marker on the trex. Still need to get that off.
Watching the cement get poured in our backyard for a shed and watching our backdoor neighbors build a pool. The kids have loved all the diggers and all the action going on over there.
Last but not least, Sydney burned her hand on my curling iron on Sunday. See the two huge blisters. I left the room to help one of the kids write something and I took Sydney with me. As soon as I started helping Austin, Syd ran back to my bathroom and grabbed the curling iron. So sad. She cried and cried and cried. This is here trying to smile a few hours after the incident.
The only good thing is I am pretty sure she will never touch my curling iron again. She keeps saying, "I touch mommy's curl arn. Burney my hand." She seems to be feeling much better today. Thank goodness.

OH man! I burned my hand on a curling iron when I was a little younger than Syd, I don't remember it, but those blisters make me hurt! Poor baby!
I just now started reading blogs again. I'm way behind. This is so sad. Jenna burned her hand on my mom's wood stove. It was awful. Then she smashed her same hand in a folding lawn chair. Then she smashed it again in the freezer door. Just a lot of bad things happen to her hands. That girl is accident prone.
