Derek lost his second tooth this week. He was so excited! I love pulling out the kids teeth, is that weird? Maybe I should have been a dentist instead of a sociologist. :) The weather has been beautiful here lately! It has been so nice to be outside. We had some friends and neighbors over for a BBQ on Monday night, it was the perfect night to be outside and play volleyball. I love where we live!
The end of year stuff for school is starting to pile up quickly. I enjoy the volunteering I do at the school, but this year has been a little too much. I asked Matt to make sure that I am not coordinating or in charge of anything next year, I will keep volunteering in the classrooms, but the other stuff has kept us too busy. (However, it has been fun, I just don't have time to do it, especially for both classes). I did try not do too much at the school this year, but I do love to be involved in the kid's classes. I would love to do more over there when the kids are a little older, though. Matt is going to Canada for work soon. I think he is excited. It is great to have good friends who you can go without seeing for a while and then just pick up where you left off and laugh and laugh. Matt took the boys to a Jazz game last night. He called me at 4:40pm and told me my brother had offered him some tickets, and could I have to boys at his office in twenty minutes? Aghh, I did it though and those boys had a great time with their dad and uncles. Syd and I headed to run some errands while the boys were gone and it was so fun to spend some 'girl time' with her. Every store we went in, she would run up to the displays and say, "pretty shoes! Pretty dress! Cute!" It was funny. I was in such a rush, I had forgotten a stroller, so she thought she was hot stuff running as fast as her little legs (and my hand holding hers) would allow. I think she enjoyed having my undivided attention, although she was very disappointed to see her brothers head off for fun without her. She kept saying, "Brothers! Go YU (I assume she meant BYU since those are the sporting events we usually attend) and No girl night!" She got over it pretty fast though. It was an unexpected, but fun night and the boys were exhausted when they got home, so right to be for everyone. That was a lot of random....but such is my life!

Oh, I bet they did have fun! That is so great. When we were UT Ethan went to a Jazz game with all the men in his family. It was so fun for him, but I know he would love to have the boys go with him at some point.
In scanning your blogpost, the first thing I saw was "I like pulling out my kids teeth." I'm not going to lie, this did strike me as odd. :) Love you Laurie
