Oh boy, so much to do! I needed a sanity break so I am blogging. I have known this week was coming for months and I have tried to be prepared....but....little things keep creeping up and waking me up at night. A few months ago the Primary was asked to be in charge of the ward Christmas Party. Ack! It has been fun to prepare and plan for and we have so many great people helping us out....I just feel responsible if it totally flops. As part of the party we are having the primary kids do a Christmas program...nativity and all. I tried to keep it simple, but I still want it to be nice....I keep thinking of things to add...I just need to stop thinking. I have been making palm trees all day and setting up the "stable" and emailing tons of people and on the phone. This week we also have Matt's work party, my family party, Scouts, book club, tithing settlement, Christmas school programs, doing room mom stuff for Derek's class party and planning/executing Zack's class Christmas party.
Last night for FHE we went with a few other families in our ward out caroling. It was great weather, we rode in the back of a trailer and sang our guts out. My kids loved it, although Sydney looked like she was in a stupor the whole time. It had to be very confusing for her, lights! strangers! music! outside! waaaaaaaaaaay past bedtime!
Wow, I feel better after writing it all down. I am really looking forward to next week, no school , I have the kids all to myself and NOTHING PLANNED.
I am also looking forward to seeing all of our little primary kids on stage...it is just the getting there part that is stressing me out! Too much fun and too little time.

I was wondering who that was! We went to the Royer's house for dessert and we heard you all singing. I'm the one that yelled "Who are you?" That was you, right?
So, you know how I am pregnant and VERY sick? Well, I have been craving that yummy potato soup you made me when I was sick last year. It's all I can think about. So, if you ever make that soup again, please save me your left overs and I'll send Chris over to pick it up. :)
Sounds crazy, but exciting. I am sure it all will be great.
