Lucky Dog

Since the first day of school Derek has told me about a girl he plays with at recess.  Her nickname is "Lucky Dog."  Derek doesn't know her real name, she is not in his class.  No clue where her nickname came from, but apparently all the kids call her that.  Today Derek told me that she has black hair and....he found out Lucky Dog's name!  He was excited to report that she does have an actual name and it is Isabella.  He was really excited that he found out her first name.  I love volunteering in his classroom, it is always so, so entertaining.  He has been so excited that he receives glowing reports from his teacher about his excellent behavior and example.  He loves Kindergarten and I love hearing all about it.  He is too funny.
