We went to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens the other night for a picnic and to enjoy the beautiful scenery. We stopped and bought KFC for dinner, or as the boys call it, "chicken on the bone." My boys are big fans of "chicken on the bone." Anywho, we found the perfect spot to settle down for our picnic. We were about ready to dig in and we discovered, that not only were we shorted a piece of chicken, but there were no utensils in the bag! So I dug through my purse and voila! I found two suckers that the boys used as spoons. It worked okay, better than nothing. I used my biscuit to eat my potatoes and gravy. That worked too, and it was yum. It was so great to have a night to relax and spend time together as a family with no distractions!

If You Give a Kid a Sucker

Haha! I love it! I thought my daughter was pretty awesome when she decided to eat the cake with a sucker. But mashed potatoes with a sucker, that is very very clever!!!
we got in trouble eating there once. Sydney is a doll!
