Kids Say the Darndest Things

So, this past week, I was helping my boys practice a Primary song that they would be singing at my brother's wedding luncheon. We had just finished when Derek, who was snuggled up next to me looked up and said, "Mom, I have felt the Holy Spirit." "Oh, really?" I asked. "Yes," he replied. "At the Salt Lake Temple." We had been to the Salt Lake Temple just a few days before when my brother David was sealed. Awwww, went my little mommy heart. "That is so cool!" I said to him. "Yes," he responded. "I felt him and I smelled him, and he did NOT smell like gum."
