5 Years Old!!

Happy Birthday Zack! I can't believe he is five years old! Time flies. Zachary was born Jan.  2003 in Provo, Utah. He was born after a loooong labor and a fast delivery. He weighed in at 6 lbs. 15 oz. He was named after his Grandpa S.  Zack was pretty easy baby, I realize now, after having two more. Everything is just more dramatic for your first baby, so it seemed like he was hard. Mostly because Matt and I had no idea what we were doing. :)

Luckily, Zack survived our mistakes and overeactions. (For example, the night he was asleep in our bed at 9 months old, and we heard a THUNK! in the middle of the night. I started feeling around on the floor, afraid I might step on him if I jumped out of bed. Matt had immediately jumped out and started feeling under the bed. He kept screaming and neither of us could find him. Finally I had the presence of mind to turn on the light! It still took us a second to find him because he was wedged in between our bed and our nightstand, upside-down! We laugh now, but Matt and I were both majorly traumatized by that, although Zack was fine. Neither us slept the rest of the night, afraid that Zack might have a concussion. Needless to say, we stopped letting him sleep in our bed after that!) He has become such a smart, fun little boy and he always makes us laugh. We love our Zacky Crackers!
